Friends 150k mile Sienna desperately needed a brake job. As he dropped it off he mentioned “a few weeks ago I heard a loud bang when backing up. Can you check to see anything?”
New pads and rotors on all corners. New front sway bar links. New drivers CV shaft.
Next up: control arms:

Reminiscent of the control arms on my ‘89 Camry. I’ve replaced them twice. They seem to last about 15,000 miles.

Are you using OEM parts or aftermarket?

One set of each. The OEMs didn’t disolve like the aftermarket ones, but definitely had a finite existence.

Hmm. Most of my OEM Toyota bushings are pushing 20 years at this point.
